Emmy photographed our summer wedding in Hilton Head and she truly made our dreams come true. Actually, that's a lie... even our dreams weren't as good :). Honestly, even my Pinterest board inspo could not come close to how magical all her photos turned out! First of all, Emmy is such a joyful person with such incredible energy. She was very calm and made us feel super at ease. She definitely knew what she was doing and was so efficient at directing and helping.
We barely even noticed her there during the ceremony so we were shocked how many incredible shots she got since she moved around so seamlessly and without distracting! We nearly got rained on- but God brought the sunshine in at the last minute- and Emmy was so organized and quick with getting all the family/bridal party pics done in anticipation for the weather! When it came to our couples shots, she was amazing at directing and made us have the most fun while doing it! My husband usually gets so awkward around a camera but he and I were having a blast and we looked great (if I do say so myself) because of her guidance.

Being a wedding photographer definitely requires a specific skill for being organized under a tight schedule, being great with people, and knowing how to direct couples/family/friends so they feel at ease in front of the camera to just be themselves. Emmy definitely has this and we just felt like we were hanging out with our new bff! Since we had a small/midsize ceremony and reception (about 70 people), Emmy was on her own without an assistant. It is truly incredible how efficiently she worked and the amazing eye she has for beautiful and fun candid moments. There are so many photos of very sweet moments we are so grateful to have. Emmy got our photos to us right on time and even a handful of them literally the next day! Her style is truly the best, in my opinion, and captures real emotion with such a timeless look. Any couple would be so lucky to have Emmy capture their most dear moments and we are so very lucky to have found her for ours!
