Meagan and Jeremy said “I do” in Italy this summer (I KNOW, so dreamy!!), and once they were back home in Charleston, they wanted one more evening to dress up, slow down, and just have FUN together. So we headed out to Middleton Place for a relaxed portrait session, and it was everything.

From Italy to the Lowcountry

There’s something so special about putting the dress and suit back on after the wedding. There’s no timeline to rush and no crowd watching, just the two of you soaking each other in. Meagan and Jeremy told me they wanted candid, story-telling photos and a shoot that felt easy and fun, and they absolutely brought that energy.

A Morning at Middleton Place

Middleton Place is home to the oldest landscaped gardens in America, and it never gets old for me. We spent the morning wandering past the Butterfly Lakes, under those huge moss-draped live oaks, and down toward the Ashley River. Lots of slow walks, quiet whispers, and laughing at the exact right moments. Candid, imperfect, beautiful.

Why I Love Post-Wedding Portraits

If you’re getting married far away, or just want more time in your wedding attire, a portrait session like this is SUCH a good idea. You get relaxed, unhurried images in a place that means something to you, and photos you’ll want to look back on for years to come.

Meagan and Jeremy, congratulations again!! Thank you for letting me be part of your love story, even a little after the big day. I’m so honored, and I cannot wait for you to see these!!
